This is a flexible role, perfect for experienced mechanics who want to give back to the community, promote sustainability, and keep bikes on the road!
What’s Involved?
As a Bank Bike Mechanic, you’ll help us refurbish and maintain donated bikes, preparing them for new riders. Your role will include:
- Servicing and repairing bikes to ensure safety and reliability
- Conducting quality checks before bikes are sold
- Advising customers on bike care and maintenance
- Supporting our mission to make cycling accessible for all
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking individuals who have:
- A minimum Cytech Level 2 qualification
- Solid knowledge of bike mechanics and repair techniques
- A passion for cycling, sustainability, and community engagement
- The ability to work independently and take pride in their work
- A friendly and approachable attitude – you’re part of what makes the Bike Project so welcoming!
