Due to Expansion another Bank Bike Mechanic Wanted at Chichester Bike Project

Are you passionate about cycling and looking for a way to use your skills to make a positive impact? The Chichester Bike Project is on the lookout for another Bank Bike Mechanic to join our vibrant and growing team at Shopwyke Lakes.

This is a flexible role, perfect for experienced mechanics who want to give back to the community, promote sustainability, and keep bikes on the road!

What’s Involved?

As a Bank Bike Mechanic, you’ll help us refurbish and maintain donated bikes, preparing them for new riders. Your role will include:

  • Servicing and repairing bikes to ensure safety and reliability
  • Conducting quality checks before bikes are sold
  • Advising customers on bike care and maintenance
  • Supporting our mission to make cycling accessible for all

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking individuals who have:

  • A minimum Cytech Level 2 qualification
  • Solid knowledge of bike mechanics and repair techniques
  • A passion for cycling, sustainability, and community engagement
  • The ability to work independently and take pride in their work
  • A friendly and approachable attitude – you’re part of what makes the Bike Project so welcoming!
